6th Annual Financial Planning Symposium
"The best FPA Symposium that I've attended in the past 6 years! Keep up the good work!" said Lauren Sigman, FPA Member. The 2007 Financial Planning Symposium, co-presented by the Financial Planning Association of Colorado and The Colorado Society of CPAs was a huge success. More than 300 Financial Planning professionals came out to the Denver Tech Center to learn from a variety of Financial Planning experts and to mix and mingle with event Sponsors and participants. This year's Diamond Sponsors were Financial Freedom and iShares.
Steve Leimberg kicked off the day with his presentation, "Six Magic Steps to Power Marketing." Other notable presenters were Jim Shambo, CPA/PFP, Geoffry Eliason/John Feyerer, and Dr. Somnath Basu. Mary Anne Heyman, FPA Member expressed her satisfaction, "Dr. Basu was INCREDIBLE! Great value! THE BEST YET!" The day closed with a panel of Industry Experts who answered questions that arose during the day. "Excellent Symposium. Well-organized and very informative. Closing panel discussion was especially effective," stated FPA Member, David Heinz.
An addition to this event was the Career Connection for those new to the industry or those looking for career opportunities. 13 local companies were on hand to speak with Symposium participants about their job opportunities.
